Life Church

I love our church. We have 13 campuses and 147 network churches around the world. Not to mention online church. They are hip, modern, fun, but they also are serious about leading people to Christ and doing his work. Pastor Craig always says "We will do anything short of sin to reach people." and I love that.

We have been going to Life Church now for a little over 6 years. We started at the NorthWest Campus in OKC, which was the original one, the one where Pastor Craig actually speaks from (the rest all watch him on as large screen, but each campus has a campus Pastor as well). But when they opened the SouthSide campus 5 years ago, we moved there, and are now anxiously awaiting the opening of the MWC campus sometime this year.

Sometimes though we go to the Edmond Campus, so Alan can go straight from or to work.

And the last month or so we have been going back to the OKC campus on Saturday nights every other weekend, meeting my friend Lori & her family there (they live close by that campus, and normally attend on Sat. evenings there). There are so many different times of services, and locations, that there really should be no excuse on why you couldn't make it to church each week! :) We can even stay home and watch in online if we can't make it out of the house!

The kids enjoy going to the OKC campus, because their kids ministry is so much more elaborate than any other campus. Since it was the first one, they put alot more stuff into it, but I think once they started branching off into other campuses, it was more cost effective to leave out some of the bells and whistles.

This is the outside of ToonTown there, the black holes are actually a slide that you can slide right into the room (they were covered here because the service was over). Inside the room too they have actual little buildings that look like cartoons. It's alot of fun.

This campus has an animatronic tree with an owl & chipmunk, which talk to you....







Bourbon loves getting to hang out with Mariah in their class, and Roman loves hanging out with Sam in their class!

The kids love getting donuts and hot chocolate at church when we go on Sunday mornings.












Southside campus doesn't have an actual big toon town with the real buildings and slide entrance, we have a big wall with a picture of toontown on it....

Roman is in ToonTown (6 years to 4th grade) and Bourbon is in the Loop (5th & 6th graders)



Here is the bank and the good news stand for ToonTown. Each week if kids can say their weekly bible verse, recite the related "say it" phrase, get their parents to sign off on it, bring their bible, or bring a friend they earn points, and then they get to buy cool prizes with them. The boys have both bought a bike with 500,000 points in the years we have attended. Roman is saving up one million to get a $100 visa gift card. He is currently at 218,000. He has a ways to go. :)

I love all of the different things that LC does. They are involved in soooo many different kinds of missions and outreach programs. They have so many different groups that work together to do verious things. The boys go on Wed. nights too. Roman goes to Konnect (k-5th grade) and Bourbon goes to Switch (6th-12th grade) and they really enjoy it.

I also love how they share all of our resources, free of charge to any church, group or individual who wishes to use it. You can go online and watch the services, and they keep them on file for quite a while, you can watch lots of old ones. Go check it out here.

Not only do they have that for adults, but they have a kids site too. You can let your kids play games, watch videos, and more. And there are a ton of parent resources for your kids too. Go here to check it out.

You don't have to go to the church to use their resources, you don't even have to go to any church. You can just check it out and use it in your own way in your own time. :)
