Bourbon's tiny snowman

Although we didn't get much snow, Bourbon found a way to build a snowman, complete with clover hair!

I was so sad that we didn't actually get all the snow that the weather man said we would! We didn't get any good snowman making snow this year! As it is, it's usually just a once a year treat that doesn't even last a full day, but we didn't even get it at all this year!! So very sad.....

Roman found a 4 leaf clover. Too bad it was just a little too late for St. Patty's day!

Back to the ballfield

Roman started back in baseball. This season it is boy pitch instead of machine pitch. The actual season hasn't started yet, and we don't have a schedule yet, but when we get one I will post it. This was just the opening tournament to place the kids in brackets or whatever it is they do! It was 5 days long though! Baseball just started and Roman is already tired of playing. Lol

A Trip to the dentist

We go to Dental Depot, which of course the kids love because of all the fun trains. Including the real train out front that they get to play on!

And all of the train toys inside to play with!

And the trains that run throughout the whole building on tracks near the ceiling! They go into each and every room, there are several of them.



This was Starla's very first trip to the dentist. It didn't last long, the dental assistant was going to brush her teeth and I told her we haven't started using realy toothpaste yet, we use toddler toothpaste, so Starla doesn't even know the concept of spitting. So she was going to try "Mr thirsty" the tool that sucks all the stuff out of your mouth, but Starla didn't want anything to do with it. She only tried once though, and then said "Oh well, bring her back in 6 months!" they didn't even look at her teeth. Maybe it will go better next time. But I think had the lady tried a bit more, Starla would have done it. Oh well.

Roman's turn. He was free and clear, everything looked good and he will come back in 6 months.

Bourbon apparantly doesn't brush his teeth very well they said, and he has 2 cavities that we have to go back next saturday to have filled. Fun stuff.

The dental assistant that was working on Bourbon let Starla sit in her seat, then gave her gloves and a mask. Starla said "I guess I'm the Doctor!" it was very cute.

Yes, my childrens lives are well documented. :)

Our spring break

It went by way too quickly, but we had a good time!

We got to go to the zoo and play

(Bourbon's buddy Stew came with us!)

And then we went downtown to the St. Patty's day block party for a bit. (Bourbon ate green eggs and ham!)

Stew and his momma are here in the pic too, we met their family up there.

We played with Nanny's new puppy Rascal

We went to the park and flew kites

We went to the bear store (as we like to call it!)

And we ended it with a baseball tournament that will last until tuesday......

We also got to spend the night in Duncan and have a great time there, but I forgot the camera at home......

Roman's turn

So last monday at baseball practice, Roman caught the ball with his eye. I wasn't there, but I can just picture it from Alan & the other moms stories. He was out in right field, arm extended to catch the ball, looking right up at it, ball whizzes down past his glove and right smack into his eye! He must have my depth perception! :)

This was monday, about an hour after it happened. He didn't want me taking pictures, and wasn't happy at all that I was going to document it. I told him later in life he would think it was cool. :)

our fleeting snow

So the snow didn't last long at all today, but Starla still enjoyed it!
She makes the funniest faces sometimes.

My poor flowers didn't like the snow too much though.......

Pizza time!!

We have started making lots of homemade pizzas at home, the boys really enjoy making most of the meal. Even Starla gets to help!

They are so proud of their work!
