So today I went to the Dr to figure out what happens next with my medical stuff. The abnormal cells in my cervix are severe, the highest level without actually being cancer, so we have to remove them as soon as we can. The Dr gave me 3 options; hysterectomy so I don't have to ever worry about it again, the laser cone surgery like last time except a much more agressive and larger cone which in essence will amputate my cervix (i.e. no possible way to have more kids), or a partial cone surgery removing all the cells but leaving as much as the cervix behind so that I have a possibility of having another kid, however he would have to permanently seal my cervix when it came time to have a child to ensure it would hold the baby, and I would have to have a c-section. So I came home and discussed it with Alan and we decided to do the partial, since neither of us are completely ready to say we absolutley without a doubt, don't want to have another child. This is a temporary fix though, as long as I have a cervix the possibility of it coming back remains. It has been 5 years this time, so it may be another 5 years before it does, or it may not be at all. But the possibility remains. So in the end, I may end up having my cervix removed or having a hysterectomy at some point, but this buys us some time to decide if we want another kid or not. I haven't scheduled it yet, but I will call and schedule it at some point today, but I have no idea when it will be just yet. He said as soon as possible, but in Dr speak that could be months, lol. So that's that.

Our week
It's been a crazy week. We stayed as busy as we could, as always, but we had some stuff tripping us up this week! Roman got ill, we thought it was strept because he had a fever, his throat hurt and he had a white spot in the back of his throat, but a trip to the Dr's proved us wrong and it turns out he has some sort of virus that causes very painful sores in his mouth. He ended up with at least 5 sores in his mouth and has been living off of soup, ensure and yogurt smoothies for the last several days. A look into Starla's mouth showed that she had it as well, but had already gotten over it. I knew she hadn't been eating much at all in the last week or so, but I chalked it up to being a toddler. She just didn't get the fever or complain about her mouth hurting. Bourbon appears to be fine and dandy. So we were confined to home for several days. Also my grandpa had a stoke and was in the hospital, but seems to be doing ok and should be out this weekend. I also got some medical news, my abnormal cells are back in my cervix (had surgery to remove them back in 04) and have to go in to the Dr's office next week to dicuss our options. Fun times! But between all that, we still managed to have a good time.....
We ate......

we acted silly.....

we hung out.....

We went bowling.......

We went to the spra park/ skatepark near our house (Roman is trying to learn how to skateboard, but so far just does the scooter)

We went to our weekly summer movie in bricktown and then to the spray pad with some friends.....

Starla & Her buddy Noah

We played outside in our little pools.....

We had a Harry Potter science afternoon....

Alan & Bourbon took Tex to get groomed.
Before.....

After......

We went to 2 different farmers markets today and got some yummy stuff....

The End. :)

Happy Father's Day!
We all helped make Alan a big card!

Bourbon made Alan a CD holder for father's day

Since he got his kilt early, which was supposed to be his father's day gift, and he got a new tattoo, those were pretty much his gifts for this year. So instead of a bunch of gifts, he got spoiled with food!
We had a big brunch of a sausage & egg casserole, a blueberry coffee cake, and some fresh strawberries, blackberries & blueberries. I didn't get to eat any, but it sure smelled and looked good!
Jamie went to Pennsylvania last weekend and came back with some cookie cutters for us! She's so awesome. So I tried out Alan's new "bevo" one for father's day!

Aren't they cute?

Hook em!

We had a big dinner (Alan's request) of chicken fried steak, mashed potatos & gravy, corn pudding, steamed veggies, beer bread and "better than sex" cake! My parents, my niece Destiny, my brother mark & his wife Jamie and their daughter Stefanie
all came over for dinner.
Then they kids played in the pool!

My daddy with his 2 littlest granddaughters!

My lil' chefs
The boys always want to help cook, so I am in the process of teaching them how and letting them choose meals that they want to cook. I hope to make them self-sufficient in the kitchen, and fully expect my future daughter-in-laws to thank me someday. :)
Even though I gave them a stack of about 5 kids cookbooks, they both picked something from this one. We are a Disney family. :)

Bourbon picked out calzones! So last week for dinner one night he made these for us!

Hard at work!

Bourbon did everything by himself except put it into and take it out of the oven!

Yum! Eveyone liked the calzones, Starla even ate 2 of them! This was one of my days that I was on a break from my diet, so I got to enjoy them too!

Roman picked out a breakfast dish; Jungle French Toast. It is a baked french toast "sandwich" with cream cheese and bananas in the middle, and cut into strips. So he made breakfast on saturday morning.

Roman begins his dish! He needed more help than Bourbon did, but he had fun!

Notice the apron Roman is wearing. It was my grandma's (My mom's mom) who passed away when Bourbon was only 9 months old. He LOVES this apron, and she made it, so it makes me smile to think he has a connection to my grandma even though he never met her.

Voila! Breakfast is served! I didn't get to eat any because of my diet, but all the kids said they were yummy! (alan was at work, and doesn't do stuff with bananas anyways....)

We love the summer!
Just thought I'd share some of the pics of the things we've been doing this past week!
On Sunday our church had a big event called Lifestock at Frontier City, and we went and played!

We watched the Bob the builder live show, and then Starla got to meet Bob! She was soo excited!

they had a blast

riding the train with daddy

on the ferris wheel

Starla is all about building "tall towers" these days, sometimes color coded, and then she likes to count all the legos.

Playing in bricktown

Bourbon spelled out Starla's name with legos.

We went to a blueberry farm in Stroud last night with some friends!

hard at work!

Yum!

Lots of berries! Think of all the things we can make with these!! :)

Isn't she a doll?
