This place has sooo much to do, it's lots of fun! The train was having technical difficulties so we didn't get to ride it, but we got to do lots of other fun things.......
We played with some pumpkins and gourds
we posed for pictures.....
Played with some animals in the petting zoo...
Roman went mining for precious rocks and gems....
we jumped on the giant inflatable "pillows"....
We rode the pedal cars...
We went on a hay ride and got pumpkins from the pumpkin patch!
On tuesday we went to The Storybook Forest in Edmond for some halloween activities! We went trick or treating through the forest with all the storybook stuff!
We played games
We roasted marshmallows at the campfire pits and had smores! Yum!
On Halloween morning we were invited to a party/carnival from our friend Kristi and her lovely family. I volunteered to run the cookie decorating booth (imagine that!) so the kids and I made lots of sugar cookies on friday night! We had fun!
Then Bourbon went to his dad's for the weekend. So sad, I do believe this is my very first holiday without him at all. :(
We got up Halloween morning and got ready for the party!
I also made witch broom cookies for the party!
All of the food was sooo stinkin' cute!!
There was face painting, a duck pond, a bouncy house, bowling, crafts, bean bag toss and more!! Not to mention good friends and yummy candy! We had such a good time!
Yum! We had to go home and throw her costume in the washing machine before we could go trick or treating!
My friend who is student teaching right now as well, Lori, invited us over for dinner and trick or treating on Halloween night. Alan went to the OSU/Texas game in stillwater, and Bourbon was at his dads for the weekend, so the rest of us just stayed the night with Lori so we wouldn't have to drive home late! She made an AMAZING dinner of Brisket and all the fixins! She spoils us.
Jamie & I, she was a black-eyed pea!
Look what I got momma!!
Starla kept just plopping down where ever she happened to be standing, lol, she got pooped out pretty quickly!
After we got back from trick-or-treating Roman & Sam carved pumpkins!
We stayed the night with Lori and her wonderful family and they fixed us a delicious breakfast before we went on our way!
We had a great Halloween!
