It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas.....

Yesterday we spent the entire day at my friend Lori's house, making christmas goodies and having fun! We didn't get home until almost 11pm!! But we had a blast!

Lori had baked all 5 of the kids their own cake, and let them decorate it!






Roman's cake has a lightening bolt scar, and says "Have a Very Harry Christmas" for Harry Potter. Hee hee





This was Bourbon's cake, isn't it awesome?! Takes after my cake decorating skills....lol




Lori helped the kids make the cutest little snowmen pretzel rods. Starla was more interested in eating the parts......



We made lots of cookies!















Today we tried to go caroling. Roman asks every year if we can go, and Starla loves to sing, so I thought, why not. I wanted to deliver some goodie baskets to friends anyways, so why not sing a carol at each place too? Well, it turned out to be a bit of a disaster, lol. First stop was Lori's, but she was in the shower so Starla cried because she wanted to sing to Lori. Next stop was Liz's, but no one was home, and Starla cried because she wanted to sing to Finn. Next stop was Nicolette's, where she did get to sing "Grandma got run over by a reindeer" (her choice of song, lol) but then she cried because she wanted to sing "all of them" (all the songs from her Christmas CD) to them, not just one song. Last stop was Melissa's, where she sang "Santa Claus is coming to town" and no tears!! Woo hoo!!

Roman looked awfully cute today in his stripes and overalls....



Is tomorrow really Christmas eve?! How did it get here so fast?! :)
