Happy birthday Starla

4 years old already! How in the world did that happen so quickly?! I knew we had to have a special and fun day for Starla's birthday. I am so blessed to have this wonderful little girl, and her birth is something worth celebrating as much as possible! :)

What could be better than birthday donuts?!?! A tradition we started with the boys a few years back...

We always read the Dr. Suess birthday book, it's a tradition!

"Starla, it's your birthday, what do you want to do today?"

"OMNIPLEX!"

Notice her new friend Olivia's head poking out too, she came with us all day. And yes, Starla dressed herself.... hee hee

After we told the woman at the entrance it was Starla's birthday, we had 2 different employees come up during our stay and give Starla something. One guy gave her a balloon, and another lady gave her an "I love Otto" pin (The mascot there)

There's just something about a princess on a tractor with pink cowboy boots.... :)

Next Starla wanted to go to the "big book store" as she calls it, Barnes-n-Noble. We love that place! She got to spend some of her birthday cash and bought a Dora song book with a little play CD player with 3 little plastic CD's, she was super excited about it!

Then it was off to lunch, and where did Starla want to go? The tea house of course!! And we called to see if Lori could join us and she did! We all had to pick out hats to wear from their assortment......

mmmm....pumpkin scones with whipped cream!

her princess tea party tray.....

no, really, this IS the proper way to drink tea! (notice all of the sea in her saucer......)

then it was off to super target to pick out a cake! (I offered to make her one, but she was all about going to the store and picking one out. Which means this is her first birthday ever that I didn't make her a cake!)

After selecting the most chocolatey cake available, it was time to head home after a long day of fun. Which is why she smooth passed out......

after everyone was home for the day it was off to Chuck-E-Cheeses with the brothers and cousins and nanny, oh my!

and yet another chance to hear people sing happy birthday and blow out the candles.......

A little love from daddy before PJ's and bedtime!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY STARLA!
