Now he's almost as tall as me! It just doesn't seem that long ago. I love him so much.
Friday afternoon we checked Bourbon out of school at lunch and took him to 15th street grill for a littel birthday lunch. We let him stay out of school for the rest of the day, so he enjoyed that.
Then friday evening Bourbon went to his dads, with 2 of his friends to stay the night for his birthday party on Saturday there. He wanted to have his party there this year.
Bourbon came home from his dad's tonight, and we got to have a little birthday dinner celebration. Jamie, my brother Nate & his girlfriend Brandy and his 3 littlest kiddos all came over for Chicken fried steak and all the fixin's, and then cake & presents.

He picked out a boston cream pie cake from one of my cake books, all because he loves the Boston redsox, lol. So he wanted me to put a red B with a blue background on it like the Boston logo.
hee hee, I love the expression on his face. We got him an Ipod Nano (used on Ebay, but it was all wrapped up like brand new in the packaging and everything, woo hoo!) and he was super excited. Which I was happy about, because he likes to play everything off like nothing is cool, so it made me glad to see he was impressed. :)
And tomorrow morning he gets his birthday donuts (which he made sure he didn't miss out on just because he wasn't here for the morning of his birthday, lol) and his birthday Dr. Suess story. :)
