They didn't have any groomsmen or bridesmaids, the kids were their bridal party
Brandy's son Gage walked her down the aisle (or in this case, over the bridge...)
Brandy's mom is actually ordained, so she was the one that married them.
They did this really neat thing, where each member of the new family got a color of sand to pour into this glass jar, Brandy started it, then each kid went and Nate finished it off, then it was sealed. It was a way to involve the kids in the ceremony and they talked about blending the families and you can no longer separate the sand from one another, they will always be a part of eachother. It was very cool.
They are the modern day Brady Bunch! Nate has Kyan (1), Hunter (4), Meadow (8) & Destiny (14) and Brandy has twin girls Ella & Emery (5) and Gage (12). They will have their hands full! :)
Brandy's mom just found out very recently that she has breast cancer, so their wedding had a bit of a breast cancer awareness theme to it. Everyone wore pink ribbons, and their cake was a pink ribbon......
congrats to the bride & groom!
