All Things Harry Potter

Wednesday we went to the mall and the Lego store had a 'build your own wand' thing going on to celebrate the last harry potter movie, of course the kids had to build one.....

Thursday, the day of the midnight viewing of the very last movie, we held a Harry Potter themed playdate! Our friends Melissa & Lori and thier kids came over to play legos, make wands, eat harry potter themed food, play HP video games and just hang out. It was lots of fun! :)

Bourbon likes to thwart my attempts to take his picture....

We bought our tickets like a month ago, and they asked if we wanted to see the new movie in 3D or in the CineCapri special theater, we went witht eh 3D, and I am so glad we did. We did the "deathly" double dose, part 1 at 9pm and then the new movie at midnight. When I asked the manager what time he though people would start coming to get a seat, he said there were people that would actually camp out all night, but that the majority would show up at about 7pm. We got there are 7:30, and every single other theater for some reason, including the Cinecapri, hadn't opened yet and there were a ton of people in line, but our theater had already been opened and we walked right in. There were quite a few people in there already, but we still found good seats, so that's all I cared about, I just didn't want to end up in the front row with my neck cramped, which has happened in years past.

We got special Harry Potter 3D glasses that we got to keep after the movie. :)

The theater always hires these guys to come in and do a show for the crowds before the midnight viewing, and they invite anyone who dressed up to come join them if they want, so Roman got up there and showed off his moves..... :)
