Alan's birthday

Wed. the 6th was Alan's 38th birthday. He had plans of getting a tattoo all day on his birthday and that was what his present was going to be, but the girl didn't work at the place any more and they couldn't fit him in, so that fell through.

But we got him a couple of little presents anyways, some cologne and some chocolate. :)














The card from the kids was pretty funny. It said "Have a @#^&%&#@ birthday dad!" and when you opened it it said "See we do listen when you talk." DOH! :)

















Then Bourbon got to spend the morning with daddy since Roman got to on father's day.








Denny's gives you a free grand slam on your birthday. It was Alan's goal to go everywhere you can to get free stuff on your birthday, but that was as far as they got.... lol












And he bought himself some new shoes! But unfortunately the straps to them broke a few hours later and now he has to take them back..... doh.









Alan grilled steaks and I made a huge meal as always. The menu was steaks, buttery beer mushrooms, squash, steamed red potatos, cheddar garlic beer biscuits, and cheese fondue with veggies, bread & sausages to dip into it. Alan's friend Mike came over for dinner, I don't know why I didn't get a pic of them together!




This year instead of a cake Alan requested a brownie chocolate mousse strawberry trifle. :)





















we even made fruity watermelon drinks!
