But we had a blast. We went with Alan's sister Janna and her family. We did so many fun things; catching crawdads in the creek, throwing rocks into the river (Starla's favorite camping activity), floating the river in intertubes, going on a 4 mile canoe trip down the river, making smores every night (which we discovered that adding peanut butter to them makes them a million times better!), playing in the waterfalls, paddleboats, swimming in the pools,fishing, BB gun practice... it just goes on & on.
It was bittersweet though, since my grandpa had a stoke on tuesday and then passed away on thursday, it was hard to focus on all the camping fun......
