Our St. Patrick's day fun

Starla helped me make a special St. Patrick's day breakfast. We had green eggs in ham cups, lucky charms cereal, white chocolate & sprinkle rimmed green milk and st. patrick's day donuts.





















































After breakfast, armed with lucky charms cereal, Starla went out in search of a leprechaun....






























we even found gold at the end of a (twizzler) rainbow!

Irish Dinner Party

Last weekend we had our Irish Themed Dinner Party. We had corned beef & cabbage, onion infused mashed potatos with cabbage and bacon, lemon rosemary roasted potatoes, beer bread, 2 kinds of cheese from Ireland, double chocolate cupcakes with mint buttercream frosting dipped in milk chocolate, a variety platter of various sweets from Johnny's Sweet Creations Bakery, Bailey's irish cream ice cream pie, Bailey's irish cream, a green gin drink, wine and irish beers. Alan went to sonic and got himself dinner, lol. He doesn't do any of those foods. :)












































































































Mike brought a 6 pack of different irish beers for us all to sample. We poured them into tiny glasses and sampled each one.




















































Our friends Brennon & Amber couldn't be there this time because the week before they had their beautiful baby boy Xander! Isn't he sweet?!

Banjos, photos & cupcakes!

A little over a week ago we took a field trip. My friend Shelly had given us a free family pass to the American Banjo Musuem in bricktown. It was pretty neat, and had a ton of beautiful banjos!






















































































































After that we went to do a little photo shoot at a fun art building downtown. It is all decorated and painted, funky and interesting. We needed to take school pictures for the boys this year, to go in their school picture frames, so this was going to be our school photo day. :) It was lots of fun.





















































































































































































After all the fun we hopped next door to Sara Sara Cupcakes for a little treat. They have a milk bar, which is lots of fun. You get a chilled glass out of a little freezer, and then choose from chocolate, white or strawberry milk on tap! And you get all the refills that you want, so the kids get a little of each.... :)

Spring is here!

Spring is here! Ok, so not officially, but it certainly feels like it outside! Time for popsicles, zoo trips, time at the park, spring flowers and getting ready to plant our vegetable garden!




























































































It was Crazy Hat day at Starla's school for Dr. Suess's birthday! The boys and I had our own Suess inspired school day as well.
